one to one SESSIONS
CHILDREN'S
Qigong for children is one of the most unique and meaningful parts of my work
It brings together two worlds I know deeply; my holistic, heart-led Qigong practice and my extensive experience as a Highly Specialist Paediatric Occupational Therapist, working with autistic and ADHD children and those with big emotional landscapes
Children often hold so much in their bodies: tension, overwhelm, frustration, excitement, anxiety, and sensory overload. Qigong offers them a gentle, playful way to move these feelings through, regulate their nervous system, and reconnect with a sense of calm and safety.
What Makes My Children’s Qigong Sessions Different?
When I work with a child, I don’t simply teach movements.
I listen to their story through their words, their body language, their energy, and the emotions they’re holding.
I draw on:
What I see in their physical patterns
What I hear in their experiences
What I feel in their emotional state
Their sensory needs
Their goals and hopes
Your goals as a parent or carer
From this, I create a gentle, personalised Qigong sequence of movements, breath practices, and simple daily regulation tools that support them not just during our session, but throughout their week.
This is where my OT expertise and Qigong practice meet:
A child-centred, neurodiversity-affirming approach that helps children feel calmer, more grounded, and more in control of their emotional world.
